Strawberry Milkshake

Its time to say good bye to the nerve chilling winter and welcome the sunshine. The winter clothes have already gone back to their residential closet. My way of bringing in the season to the house is to start with super cool milkshakes and as the sun hits high, I gradually move to fresh juices.

Jigarthanda-Madurai Special

Jigarthanda is a famous drink in Madurai, city in southern part of India. The origin of this drink dates back to the late 18^th century when Muslim settlers landed in India and used this as a coolant/thirst quencher. The name means ‘cools the heart’.

Fresh Peach Juice

It’s still very summery here! The stone fruits are in season and so M picked some fresh peaches last weekend. But as usual the fruits bag was pushed to the back end of the refrigerator. But i should say they kept well for the week and this morning i noticed the bag as there were only few veggies clinging in there.
