Garlic Chutney/Poondu Thogayal

Garlic chutney is a no-fuzz quick recipe that tastes super spicy and delicious. It’s a must for this chutney to be mixed with sesame/gingelly oil to suppress the spiciness and bring out their flavors. Its super quick like 10 minutes is too much. Do give it a try!
Ingredients:
Shallots/pearl onions-15, peeled
Garlic-15 big pods, peeled
Dried Red chilies-5-7
Tamarind -1 small piece
Salt-as required

How it Happened:
1. Add all ingredients to the blender and grind to a smooth paste.

2. Transfer to a serving bowl. While serving mix it up with gingelly oil.
Notes:
* Stays well for 2 days. But slightly gets darker/ oxidized as time goes.
* Pairs well with hot dosas and idlies and Kurunai dosai (recipe soon).

* Reduce the amount of garlic if you don’t want a strong pungent taste. Adjust the quantity of ingredients as per your taste.
