Pyaaz/Pyaz Paratha/Onion Paratha

Pyaaz paratha is the easiest Paratha that can be made in a jiffy and can be served with pickle and curd/raita. M always asks for these kinds of stuffed parathas for his breakfast as they are filling and also easy to carry in sandwich bags/ foil. It’s easy for me as well as I always have a batch of roti dough ready in fridge I can make it in minutes.

Rava/Sooji Masala Khichdi/Rava –Semiya Kichadi/Semolina-Vermicelli Kichdi

Rava Kichdi is one of M’s favorite, though he doesn’t like the Upma version. I love rava in any form be it upma, kichdi, dosa, idly, kesari, pongal pretty much any form!  When I was a kid I used to wonder why people hate upma when they are so delicious.

Methi Thepla/Methi Paratha

Methi Thepla is a nutritious flatbread that needs no accompaniments. Its wholesome and tastes delicious. M doesn’t really care about breakfast on weekdays. Toast and fried eggs are his go to breakfast. He is not much into cereals or muesli. But he can have stuffed parathas to break the monotony at times.
